We are Cristian and Anna, the proud owners of Quinta Viva. Over the past three years, we have dedicated ourselves to rebuilding our earth houses, which were once in complete ruins. Our journey began with several months of hard work, removing fallen roofs, clearing out old, rotten furniture, and cutting back the bramble that had overtaken the property.
Once the cleanup was complete, we turned our attention to the first house, stabilizing the earth walls with a ring beam that became the foundation for a beautifully insulated roof. Following the roofing process, we plastered the walls using traditional Roman techniques, slaking lime stone to restore the walls. This method has the advantage of keeping the walls breathable and stable, allowing us to preserve the integrity of the original structure.
One house after another, we have poured our passion and effort into restoring these spaces. Today, we are delighted to offer these lovingly restored houses to our visitors and guests, providing a unique experience surrounded by nature and history. We take pride in sharing the fruits of our labor and the beauty of Quinta Viva with everyone who comes to stay.
